Henry and June : from the unexpurgated diary of Anaïs Nin. (Book, ) [geo74.su]

This review raises such interesting questions. I'm here mentally debating some of them. I wouldn't say that it comes from this book that, for Anais, one of the females in a relationship of two females has to be masculine. I wouldn't even say that this idea seems to influence her. She mentions dreams and thoughts that attribute masculine attributes to women. But, as you say, the book is a diary.

Published October 29th by Mariner Books first published I did get bored with it fast, in love. It's in us, thou. Experiences and thoughts that Nin felt were revelatory over the number of years during which the journals take place were repetitive and somewhat tedious when read in the course of a few days.

  1. I can still love passionately without believing. When she came out of the dark again, she seemed even more beautiful to junr than before. It is like the life of the Russians in The Idiot. He was wishing he could go to the Quatz Arts Ball.
